Your musculoskeletal specialist will review your symptoms and functional limitations. They will address what movements and/or positions aggravate your symptoms as well as what gives you relief. Your clinician will then assess your movement quality, followed by what happens mechanically with repeated movements, just as if you were in person. A diagnosis will be based on how your involved joint responds mechanically. The musculoskeletal specialist will then explain the cause and outline a treatment plan for you, including a home exercise program. A video of your home program exercise(s) will be shared with you and you will be able to access it at any time on your “Connect” button of your VPT app.

At the end of the visit, your specilaist will schedule a follow up as necessary.

VPTs sends a follow up email 24 hrs / 7 days / 4 weeks /and 4 months after each new evaluation. Our goal is to aide in decreasing your symptoms and improving your overall function. Each follow up email will ask you to rate your symptoms and function. If you are not showing improvement, we will request that you schedule a follow up visit. Your feedback will be shared with your specialist and VPTs administration, so we can continue to audit ourselves and look for ways to continually improve our application.
